Accumulating wealth

Ruins

Timed vaults scattered across every dimension, guarded by waves of enemies.

Ruins are structures that hold the most valuable loot on Minter. They appear in the Overworld, the Nether and the End, at varying levels of difficulty.

Unlocking loot#

Right-click the ruin's central chest to start the unlock countdown. When it finishes, the chest opens for a big payout. Many ruins spawn waves of enemies that pause the timer until they're cleared.

Use the compass to find ruins in your dimension, or spot them on the live map.

Nether ruins#

Nether ruins are the fastest to complete and range from beginner to high-tier loot. They're also where anchors, nodes and building blocks come from. After each wave, a little helpful loot such as food drops at the ruin's beacon.

Tip. Working through Nether ruins of increasing difficulty is the most reliable way to gear up for combat.

Overworld ruins#

Overworld ruins are rare, server-wide events. They're announced when they spawn, last from 15 minutes to an hour, and award huge amounts of loot plus custom portable villagers. Expect large fights to break out around them.

Special Overworld ruins, such as the energy ruin, are claimable. They last for days and drop enormous amounts of loot to whoever holds them.

End ruins#

End ruins are the endgame. Waves spawn every 4–8 hours and pause the countdown until every mob is defeated, so a run can take many hours. Each cleared wave drops generous loot, and the final chest guarantees an Elytra, alongside shulker boxes and stacks of obsidian.

Warning. End ruins are claimable. Take one and you'll need to defend it for hours.
