A Continuous Globe, Not a Border Wall
In vanilla Minecraft, maps are infinite flat planes without natural geopolitical hubs. Minter structures the world as a 12-tile spherical projection. Each pentagonal tile represents an Earth region with distinct timezones, local chat, and community centers.
When you connect for the first time, our geolocation router places you in the tile closest to your real-world timezone, ensuring your neighbors are online when you play. You can travel across tile borders by foot, boat, horse, or Elytra.
Tile Features:
- Regional Spawns: Join players in your geographical vicinity.
- Tile-Local Chat: Proximity communication keeps global chat clean and local politics intimate.
- Compass Navigation: Hold a compass to locate ruins, track nearby players, or navigate between claims.
