Land Protection & Warfare

Claims with Block HP.

On Minter, claims are neither completely invulnerable nor completely defenseless. Every protected block possesses custom Hit Points (HP). Here is the complete breakdown of Respawn Anchors, Lodestone nodes, emerald upkeep, and raid tactics.

Respawn Anchors

The foundational claim block. Found in Nether ruins. Placing one establishes a 96-block protection radius.

Lodestone Nodes

Expansion blocks. Each node extends your claim by another 96 blocks and helps unlock invulnerable Tier IV/V status.

Emerald Upkeep

Ongoing claim fuel. Deposited directly into the anchor GUI. If upkeep runs dry, protection disables immediately.

Protection Tiers & Upkeep Costs

Higher tiers multiply your blocks' resistance against pickaxes, axes, and TNT explosions.

Protection TierDaily UpkeepBlock HPOperational Role
Tier ØStarting tier (Free)350 HPDefault starter protection. Easy to breach by dedicated raiders.
Tier I48 emeralds / day750 HPSubstantial upgrade. Requires dozens of melee hits or basic TNT.
Tier II96 emeralds / day1,250 HPFormidable fortress tier. Resists sustained TNT cannon attacks.
Tier III144 emeralds / day1,750 HPMaximum standard block HP. Requires organized military siege to breach.
Tier IV & VRequires Node PerimeterInvulnerableUnlocked only when surrounded by upgraded Tier I+ Lodestone nodes.

Establishing & Managing a Claim

  • 1. Obtain an Anchor: Defeat waves in Nether ruins to earn a Respawn Anchor claim block.
  • 2. Place and Activate: Right-click the placed anchor to open its management menu. You can rename it, set an anchor code, and deposit emeralds for upkeep.
  • 3. Inspect Block HP: With empty hands, right-click any block inside your claim to inspect its current HP and maximum HP.
  • 4. Add Authorized Players: Use the "Players" submenu to add trusted allies who can build, mine, and open containers without restrictions.
  • 5. Paper Access Cycling: Left-click any interactable block (chests, doors, buttons) with a piece of Paper to toggle access: Private (default), Trusted, or Public (for public shops).

Raid Dynamics & Base Defense

  • Breaching Defenses: Attackers can breach your walls by hitting blocks repeatedly with appropriate tools or firing TNT cannons. Each strike lowers the block's HP.
  • The Critical Target: If attackers breach your inner sanctum and destroy your Respawn Anchor, your entire claim disappears, leaving the remaining structures unprotected.
  • Obsidian Encasement: Always bury your anchor inside layers of obsidian, reinforced stone, and liquid barriers to slow down enemy cannoning teams.
  • Ring with Nodes: Place upgraded Lodestone nodes around your anchor to create an invulnerable perimeter (Tier IV/V). Attackers must break the outer nodes before touching your core.
  • Map Grace Period: Newly placed anchors have approximately a 1-hour delay before appearing publicly on the Squaremap live map, giving you time to build initial fortifications.
